PRODUCT:
1. Why are the colors of my product slightly different than the ones pictured online?
Each screen has a slight variation in color display and each customer’s screen settings may also vary. With our photo edits, we try to match the true color the best we can.
2. Why can’t I find the same textile design in a different size, and will you have the same textile in the future?
The textiles found in our Vintage Collection are handcrafted woven art that was created for someone special years ago and has now been recycled with love to be shared with the world. Each textile has a story and each played a unique role in the traditional attire of the wearer. Because the textiles found in our collection are one of a kind, we can only create a limited number with the same design before the textile runs out. You can refer to our “One on One” map of a traditional Guatemalan outfit to understand the lengths of fabric that we have to work with. We try to create a variety of sizes with the same textile, whenever possible.
Look for our Vintage Collection tag for items featuring vintage Mayan textiles, a gift from the past generation to the world. So much History!
3. What type of leather is used for insoles?
Our leather insoles are made of pig suede.
PAYMENT:
1. What methods of payments is accepted?
Online Orders:
All orders are processed via PayPal where we accept all major credit cards. You may sign in to your PayPal account or continue the check out process as a guest.
Wholesale Orders:
Please Contact us for wholesale order inquiries and instructions. Orders must be paid in full before items are shipped. If you are ordering wholesale and live in Texas, please send your Tax ID number if you wish to waive the 8.25% sales tax on your invoice. If no Tax ID is provided, sales tax will be included.
2. Do you offer gift cards?
Yes we do offer gift cards. You will find it in the Shop section of our website.
3. Why am I unable to apply more than one discount code to my order?
Discount codes cannot be combined.
ORDER QUESTIONS:
1. If I change my mind can I cancel or change my order?
Once an order is placed, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel the order in time. Please contact us ASAP and we will do our best to accommodate you where possible. If the item has been shipped before the cancellation request is received, you must wait for package to arrive and proceed with the return/exchange process. Please refer to our return/exchange policies here.
2. How do I know if my order was placed successfully?
Once you have submitted your order, you will be directed to a confirmation page that contains your order number. An email will be sent shortly after with your receipt. A shipping confirmation email will follow once order has been shipped.
3. When will my order be processed?
Orders are processed within approximately 1 to 2 business days after the order is placed. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will be processed within 1 to 2 business days, Monday through Friday.
4. Do you offer price adjustments?
We do not offer price adjustments due to frequently changing promotions.
PRODUCT CARE:
1. How do I clean and protect my shoes and accessories?
The textiles in our products are carefully selected and treasured for their beauty, history and skilled artistry. Most of our textiles are vintage and have years of history imprinted in them. For this reason, there may be an occasional loose thread. We try our best to address any blemish we may find. We inspect every article before it leaves our warehouse. In the case that you have a loose thread from day to day wear etc., DO NOT pull the thread. You may easily clip the loose thread and that should take care of it.

SIZING:
1. What size should I order?
Please refer to our sizing chart and measure the foot from heel to toe. You can add ¼ of an inch for room to grow. The sizes provided are a conversion from European sizes, so please be sure to measure feet accurately. Our shoes are available in medium width only. When in doubt, you can always purchase the size they will transition into soon.
2. Will my shoes stretch at all?
Yes, slightly with use. With a short amount of time and wear, the shoes will stretch slightly and mold to your child’s feet. We highly recommend wearing socks while breaking in shoes and wearing them indoors on carpet at first, in order to increase comfort and still allow for an exchange if necessary. We do not accept returns on shoes that show any wear or use.
SHIPPING/RETURNS:
1. When is my item shipped?
Orders are processed within approximately 1 to 2 business days after the order is placed. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will be processed within 1 to 2 business days, Monday through Friday. Expedited shipping is available at checkout — available options can be viewed during your checkout process.
2. What is your return policy?
Contact us at [email protected] for a return approval, authorization # and address. You may return product, with approval, in an unused condition within 14 days for a full refund or an exchange. The return must be shipped within 30 days of delivery.
3. Is free shipping offered on returns?
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs, and for shipping expenses on returns that don’t meet our guidelines. Please note that postage costs are not refundable. An option for PAYPAL customers is to use “Paypal – Return shipping on us.” This offer is provided by Paypal for their eligible account owners. With this service you are eligible to receive up to 12 refunds per calendar year, and may receive refunds of up to $30 USD per claim. Visit their website for their full terms and conditions.
